uPVC (Unplasticized polyvinyl chloride) is a polymer obtained by different processes for industrial use. This process includes the production of chlorine from salt electrolysis, the production of ethylene from petroleum refining and naphtha decomposition, the production of gaseous monomer vinyl chloride from the chemical synthesis of these two elements, the polymerization of the monomer structure to produce uPVC, and the combination with additives, which are the end product with different properties. It consists of the uPVC commercial product as well as the output stages.
uPVC is a good insulator like wood. The thermal conductivity coefficient of 0.17 is lower compared to wood, which has a value of 0.23 W/mC°. The equivalent coefficient of aluminum is approximately 210 W/mC°.
